Directions [How to find the Performance Hall]
The Plaza del Sol Performance Hall is located on the east side of the California State University, Northridge campus off of Zelzah Avenue. From Nordhoff Street, take Zelzah Avenue north one-quarter mile and turn left into Parking Lot G-4. $5.00 Parking permits may be purchased at the Lot G-4 Information Booth or from any of the yellow parking permit dispensers located throughout the lot. Handicapped parking is available on the west side of the parking lot along the fence.  All campus parking is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once you have parked, follow the bright, orange A-frame signs to the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall lobby entrance, located on the north side of the Student Union Plaza del Sol. Doors Open for Seating
The Plaza del Sol Performance Hall opens to the public for seating approximately one half hour prior to the scheduled start time of the event.

Latecomer Policy
As a courtesy to the performers and audience members, patrons who are not seated when the performance begins will be asked to watch the monitor in the lobby until an appropriate break in the program. When possible, latecomers may be seated by the House Manager in available seats at the back of the auditorium.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located on the lobby level directly over the ticket office.

Cellular Phones, Beepers and Watch Alarms
As a courtesy to all patrons and performers, please turn these units to non-audible or off before the performance begins.

Photography & Video Recording
Due to copyright laws and in consideration of the performers, the use of photographic or recording devices of any kind inside the theatre is strictly prohibited.  If you bring a camera with you, we will politely ask you to check it at the Patron Services window, or with an usher before entering the theatre.

Concessions
When provided, the concession stand is located in the outer lobby and opens one hour prior to the start of each performance. Food and beverages are not permitted inside the theatre auditorium with the exception of water in closed plastic containers.

Special Access and Seating
Wheelchair and handicapped seating locations are available in the auditorium. Patrons needing to take advantage of these special seating locations can identify themselves to Ticket Office seller when purchasing a ticket and house staff upon arrival and will be seated accordingly.

Smoking
Cal State, Northridge is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in the restrooms, theatre auditorium, lobby, or within 30 feet of the building at any time.

Lost & Found
The House Manager will hold lost articles until the end of the performance. After that, please contact the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall offices Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at (818) 677-5768.

Disruptive Patrons
Patrons of any age whose behavior is not appropriate will be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be given once the curtain has gone up and the show has begun.

Children Attending the Performance Hall
All children are required to have tickets and separate seats. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion regarding your child’s ability to sit quietly and enjoy a performance.

Emergency Contact Number
In an emergency, to contact patrons or theatre staff during performances, please call the Campus Police 24 hour dispatch at (818) 677-2111. Campus Police will send an officer to the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall. Be sure to leave your seating section, seat numbers and the above phone number with the person who may need to contact you. Should an emergency arise, a member of the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall House Staff will contact you at your seat.

Rental Information
The Plaza del Sol Performance Hall is available for your special event, concert or film screening. Please fill out and submit our Facility License Application and Event Information Form and fax to (818) 677-5472.
